When?
The autumn courses have started in the first week of September 2025 and will end the week before Christmas. There will be no classes in the week of October 13 because of the autumn holiday.
It's not possible to join or leave the courses partway through. However, late 2025 I will offer some 1-day workshops, and you are always free to contact me if you have any other specific requests.

Early 2026 I will be on maternity leave; the next series of courses will therefore be expected to start around May 2026. Those who are subscribed to the newsletter will be informed once definitive dates are known.

- Can I take a trial lesson?
The best option if you want to take a trial lesson before signing up for a course is to join one of my one-day workshops when those are available. If that's not possible, please contact me and we can see what can be arranged.

- How does payment work?
If you take a course, you pay for it in full in advance. You can pay via Tikkie or direct bank transfer.

- Do you also provide workshops or private lessons?
If you'd like to take one or more workshops with a group of friends or colleagues, tailored to your level and wishes, that is certainly possible. Private lessons are also possible if you would like them. The cost per lesson hour is, of course, higher than when you join a regular course for 8 people. Just send me a message and we'll see what's possible.
Additionally, I will be organising some one-day workshops late 2025.

Beginners course drawing and painting
In this course, you'll learn the basics of drawing and painting, such as how to observe, use color techniques, and discover different materials and styles.
This course is for people with little to no experience who want to learn how much fun it is to be creative.
Level: beginner (no experience required)
Duration: 15 lessons of 2.5 hours (incl. 15 min break)
Next start date: expected May 2026
Number of lessons: 15
Costs: €270 (incl. materials, coffee and tea)
Course illustrating children's books
This course specifically focuses on the basics of creating illustrations for children and children's books, such as drawing characters, narrative illustration, use of color and compositions.
This is a longer course, so we can delve a little deeper into the subject. This course is suitable for people who would like to illustrate children's books one day, and who want tools for building their portfolio.
Level: slightly advanced (some experience is desirable; for example, this course is a good follow-up to my beginners course)
Duration: 15 lessons of 2.5 hours (incl. 15 min break)
Autumn course: Starts September 2 and ends December 16 (no class on October 14).
